There are several ethnic groups in Sadat Colony including Muhajirs, Punjabis, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns. 99.9% of the population is Muslim. The population of Sadat Colony is estimated to be nearly 20,000. This colony was named because the Saada't-e-Mewat when migrated to Pakistan settled here. That's the main reason this was called the Saadat Colony (Colony of the Syeds).
